State bank branch Ramban closed after two employees test positive

 

Ramban April 30 (PTK) The State Bank Branch Ramban in Jammu division was closed for two days after two of it’s employees test positive

As per order issued by district Magistrate Ramban “Whereas, orders/Circulars/instructions have been issued from time to time from this office with regard to checking the further transmission of COVID-19 and breaking of chain in spreading; and Whereas, following issue of advisories by the Health authorities to prevent the Spread of COVID-19 pandemic and break the transmission chain of the virus in the district, it has become necessary to enforce certain restrictions; and Whereas, two employees of State Bank of India Branch, Ramban have tested COVID-19 positive and as such it has become more vulnerable as for as further transmission of COVID 19 infection is concerned; and Whereas, there is every apprehension of spread of COVID-19 if the said Bank Branch is not closed for period of 48 hours and the bank customers shall continue to come in contact with the other contact staff.

” Now, therefore, in vier of bove-mentioned facts as well as in the interest of safety and well-being of people at large, I, Mussarat Islam, KAS District Magistrate, Ramban, in exercise of the powers vested in me under Section 144 Cr.PC. National Disaster management Act, 2005 and Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897 do hereby order that State Bank of India, Branch Ramban, shall remain closed for a period of 48 with immediate effect, Manager, State Bank of India, Branch Ramban, is directed to remain available on phone in case of any urgency and ensure 100% sampling of all employees of his branch, in consultation with Medical Superintendent, D.H. Ramban, Besides, Branch Manager, SBI Ramban shall also ensure proper sanitization/fumigation of the Branch and after 48 hours and after proper sanitization, the Branch shall resume usual work, it adds.
