Srinagar man accused of raping minor girl arrested

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 02:- A man from Srinagar who was accused of raping a minor girl has been arrested on Friday.
Srinagar Police in a tweet said that accused namely Aijaz Ahmad sheikh S/o Ghulam Nabi sheikh R/o Zewan, Khunmoh has been arrested for raping a minor girl of Maloora (name withheld), 4 days ago.
They said that he was absconding after the crime and a case under FIR No 24/2022 under relevant sections of IPC & POSCO act was already registered.

“One accused namely Aijaz Ahmad sheikh S/o Ghulam Nabi sheikh R/o Zewan, Khunmoh arrested for raping a minor girl of Maloora (name withheld), 4 days ago. He was absconding after the crime.A case under FIR No 24/2022 under relevant sections of IPC & POSCO act was already registered.” Srinagar Police tweeted.
