Shopian Encounter:- Two militants killed, encounter over

SRINAGAR :(PTK)Two militant were killed in an encounter which broke out between militants and goverment forces in Dairoo, Keegam of South Kashmir’s Shopian district on Friday morning.

Officials said that two militant have been killed and they are likely locals belonging to HM outifit.

Earlier Officials said that a a joint team of forces Army’s 44RR, Police and CRPF launched cordon and search operation in Dairoo, Keegam area after they had specific input about the presence of militants in the area.

As the joint team forces encircled the suspected spot, the hiding militants started firing on the forces, triggering an encounter, he said, adding that in exchange of fire two militants have been killed.(PTK)
