Sexagenarian yatri dies of cardiac arrest in Ganderbal
Ganderbal, July 14 (PTK): A 60-year-old Amarnath pilgrim died on Sunday after suffering cardiac arrest in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
Reports reaching to PTK said that the yatri Sundri Devi (62), wife of Ram Narayan Chohan of Dola-Ajmeer Rajasthan, collapsed this morning and she was subsequently evacuated for medical assistance at Baltal.
She was immediately rushed to a nearby medical centre where she was declared dead on arrival.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case under a relevant section of law and taken up further investigations in this regard, police officer told PTK. (PTK)
