Seven houses damaged in Batamaloo blaze

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srrinagar :  At least seven residential houses were gutted in a massive blaze that broke out at Hamza Colony Batamaloo area of Srinagar.

Fire broke out at Sheikh Hamza Colony Dandar Kha area of Batamaloo from a residential house belonging to Shabir Ahmad Sheikh and within no time it engulfed other nearby houses.

Fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames, however, it was controlled only after seven houses were damaged, they said.

Police has registered a case in this regard and started investigations, officials added.:-PTK.
