Security forces recover arms, ammunition near Uri

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR SEP 17:- Police and army recovered a cache of arms and ammunition in Hathlanga Uri north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
An official said that based on a specific intelligence input by agencies regarding presence of cache of arms/ ammuniton in area of Hathlanga Uri; joint parties of Baramulla Police and Army 3 Rajput today launched search operation in wee hours near Hathlanga area of Uri sector including Hathlanga nallah which led to the recovery of arms/ ammunition

He said that AK-47 Rifle- 01 No, AK Magazine- 01 No’s and AK 47 Ammunition – 28 rounds were recovered.
Official said that case under Arms Act has been registered in Police Station Uri and investigation has been set in motion.
