Scooty rider killed after getting hit by speedy truck in Kulgam

Kulgam, 04 Nov (PTK): A teenager riding a scooty was killed on Thursday afternoon after getting hit by an allegedly speeding truck at Kousarbal Damhal Hanjipora area in South Kashmir’s Kulgam district .

Reports reaching press trust of Kashmir (PTK) that a teenager scooty rider identified as Burhan Rashid son of Abdul Rashid Thokar of D H Pora Kulgam sustained critical injuries after getting hit by a Truck in Damhal Hanjipora area.

He was immediately evacuated to nearby hospital for advanced treatment, however he succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.

A police officer while confirming the incident said that a case has been registered under relevant sections of law and further investigations taken up. (PTK).
