Ramban Admin organises maiden District-Level Inter-Zone quiz competition- Brain of Ramban
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 10: District Administration Ramban, in collaboration with the School Education department, today organised maiden District-Level Inter-Zone quiz competition- “Brain of Ramban” on ‘Current Affairs’ here at Government Model Higher Secondary School, Ramban as a part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign and Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mussarat Islam was the Chief Guest.
Chief Education Officer, Ramban Dev Anand, Principal of Host School, Kewal Sharma and other officers besides students and staff of the School attended the event.
Six education zones of the district including Zone Batote, Ramban, Ukhral, Khari, Banihal and Gool participated in the quiz competition.
The Zone Ukhral clinched the first position, while Zone Gool and Zone Banihal secured 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. The 4th position was shared by Zone Khari and Zone Ramban.
Addressing the students, the Deputy Commissioner said that “Brain of Ramban” Quiz Competition will be organized on an annual basis in the district to boost spirit of competition among the students.

The DC stressed upon the need to facilitate exposure of students locally and encourage them to learn everything under the sun to achieve their life goals. He also advised the schools to organize quiz and other competitions at their own level to infuse spirit of competition among the students.
The winner teams and other participants were felicitated by the Administration with the trophies and certificates of appreciation, respectively.
