Policeman killed in Kulgam grenade blast

Press Trust of Kashmir  | Srinagar:- A policeman was killed in a grenade blast last night in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district, police said today.

A police spokesman said that a grenade blast took place last night in the Qaimoh area of Kulgam.

He said that in the incident, cop received critical injuries following which he was shifted to GMC Anantnag, where he succumbed on Sunday morning.

“A grenade incident was reported yesterday night in Qaimoh #Kulgam. In this #terror incident, 01 police personnel namely Tahir Khan R/O Mendhar, Poonch got injured. He was shifted to GMC hospital #Anantnag for treatment where he succumbed & attained #martyrdom.” Kashmir Police Zone tweeted.:-PTC.
