Police take action against illegal mining in Baramulla

February 21(PTK): Continuing its drive against illegal mining activities, Police in Baramulla under the jurisdiction of Police Post Delina intercepted a vehicle (tipper) bearing registration number JK04C-1750 found carrying illegally extracted sand.

The vehicle was immediately detained and challaned through the officials of the Geology & Mining Department under relevant provisions of law.

J&K Police remains committed to taking strict action against illegal mining and appeals to the public to report such activities to the nearest police unit.(PTK)
