Police strengthens ties with retired police officers in Pulwama
December 18(PTK): Police in Pulwama held an interaction meeting with PROANG (Police Retired Officers Association Non-Gazetted) in the Recreation Hall of the District Police Lines Pulwama. The meeting was chaired by DySP DAR Pulwama, Syed Mohd. Shafi, with participation from the Chairman of J&K Retired Police Association and the Secretary of the Central Body (South).
The meeting focused on reviewing welfare measures and addressing issues faced by retired police personnel. Various welfare-related and service matters were discussed in a cordial atmosphere. The chairing officer welcomed the participants and assured them that J&K Police remains committed to the welfare of retired personnel, emphasizing that they continue to be an integral part of the police family.
Representatives of PROANG raised several pending issues and offered valuable suggestions, which were patiently heard. Assurance was given that all genuine grievances would be taken up at the appropriate level for redressal. The dedication, sacrifices, and long years of service rendered by retired police officers were duly acknowledged.
