Police Naka team attacked in Ganderbal

SRINAGAR, (PTK): A naka team of Jammu and Kashmir police was attacked by militants travelling in a car in the central Kashmir district of Ganderbal, official sources told Press Trust of Kashmir on Monday.

They said militants travelling in a car resorted to indiscriminate firing with automatic weapons from a distance towards a police naka party at Gadoora, Ganderbal late on Monday night.

Police personnel immediately retaliated but the militants managed to escape.
No one was injured in the shootout, they added.

Later a massive search operation was conducted in the area but the militants had escaped, they said. (PTK)
