Police Martyrs Memorial Kabaddi tournament concludes at Gool

Press Trust of Kashmir | Ramban : Under the overall supervision of SSP Ramban PD Nitya IPS, in commemoration of Police Martyrs Day, a Kabaddi tournament was organised by Ramban police at HrSS Gool.

*SDPO Gool Pardeep Kumar alongwith SHO Gool Insptr Muneer Ahmed and IC PC Gool Insptr Sampaul Gill* were present during the Final match.

This tournament based on knockout system witnessed a massive participation of youth and sportspersons.

Team of HrSS Gool emerged as champions after defeating the team of GMS Salballa.

It is pertinent to mention here that this tournament is a part of ten days long sports activities programme conducted under the banner of Police Flag Day 2021, to commemorate the Police Martyrs Day.

While speaking on the occasion SDPO Gool Pardeep Kumar said that this ten day long sports activities programme being conducted, is a mark of tribute to our fallen brethren who have made supreme sacrifices to uphold the sovereignty, security and integrity of our nation. And it has always been an endeavour of Jammu and Kashmir Police to provide the best possible platform to our youth to mainfest their talents. He further said, we strive through these activities to take our youths towards positivity rather letting them become a victim of drug abuse and other negative things.

Appreciation letters were also provided to Employees of YSS and School Education Deptt for their contribution in making Police Flag Day celebrations a grand success.(PTK)
