Police ASI Found Dead in Srinagar’s Ahmad Nagar, Investigation Underway

Srinagar, Aug 17: An Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police, identified as Mohammad Shafi from Yaripora Kulgam, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in Ahmad Nagar, Srinagar, late last night.

According to sources from news agency Press Trust of Kashmir, Shafi, who was posted at the Ahmad Nagar police station, was discovered unconscious in his room. He was immediately rushed to the hospital, but the medical team declared him dead on arrival.

Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of death, which remains unclear at this time. The incident has raised concerns among the local police community, as they await further developments in the case.
