Pakistan Beat Leicestershire in T20 Practice Match 2019
Pakistan cricket team had good practice matches just ahead of their upcoming series against England. Before playing this practice T20 match against Leicestershire, the men in green won two 50 over practice matches against Kent and Northamptonshire. PAK victory against LEIC by 58 runs is special due to Babar Azam century.
Leicestershire won the toss and elected to bowl first, where Pakistan posted a massive total of 200/6 in 20 overs thanks to Babar Azam inning of 101 from 63 balls. Apart from Babar Azam the other Pakistani in form batsman Fakhar Zaman scored 52 off 30 balls. With Azam and Zaman getting into form, it is definitely good news for Pakistan cricket and its fans.
Pakistan team morale must have indeed boosted after a fine performance in the warm-up matches. They will head to Cardiff on a high note to play the only T20I match against England on May 5, 2019, which will be followed by 5 match ODI series starting from May 8, 2019. Pakistan will look forward to utilising and study conditions in England before they start their ICC World Cup 2019 campaign against West Indies on May 31, 2019.
