Pakistan announce 15-man squad for World Cup
Pakistan selection committee chief Inzamam-ul-Haq announced a 15-man squad for the ICC World Cup 2019 and the series against England on Thursday. The biggest name missing from the list was of pacer Mohammad Amir
The team is scheduled to leave for England on April 23 for a 83-day long tour during which the Pakistan side will play one T20 practice match, a Twenty20 International, four 50-over warm-up matches and five ODIs before participating in the ICC World Cup from May 30.
According to the ICC regulations, all participating teams have to submit their 15-player World Cup squads by April 30 but can make changes till May 22 without ICC’s approval.
