One militant killed in ongoing Kulgam Gunfight

Srinagar, 11 Nov (PTK) : One unidentified militant has been killed in an ongoing Encounter in chawalgam area of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on thursday afternoon .

Official sources told Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that one militant has been killed in ongoing encounter, however identity of the militant is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in chawalgam area following inputs about the presence of Militants in the area.

As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon them, triggering off an encounter.

Meanwhile Kashmir zone police also tweeted that 01 unidentified militant killed,operation in progress, further details shall follow. (PTK)
