LG condemns incident, announces Ex-gratia relief
Srinagar:- Another IED blast has been spotted at Rajouri which is being cleared and media persons have been asked to remain cautious.
A top police said that blast has taken near the house of the first firing incident in which 5 persons were injured.
He said that one child has succumbed to injuries while another is critical.
Media personnel are requested to be cautious as another suspected IED spotted which is being cleared, he said.
Furthermore, Jammu & Kashmir lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha on Monday condemned the militant attack in which many civilians were killed and several others were injured in a village in Rajouri district.
“I strongly condemn the cowardly terror attack in Rajouri. I assure the people that those behind this despicable attack will not go unpunished. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families.” LG tweeted.
He has also announced an Ex-gratia relief of 10 lakhs and govt Job in favour of killed while one lakh in favour of seriously injured persons.
“An ex-gratia of Rs. 10 lakh and a Govt job would be given to the next of kin of each of those civilians martyred in dastardly attack. Seriously injured would be given Rs.1 lakh. Officials have been directed to ensure best treatment to injured.” He tweeted.:- PTK.
