J&K Forest Department felicitates Forest employees for their Good work

Srinagar / PTK:- A small but impressive function was organised at Kashmir South Forest Circle Headquarters, Bijbehara in which Forest employees who had done good work during the past year were awarded with Certificate of Appreciation by Conservator of Forests South Kashmir Irfan Ali Shah IFS.

The DFO Lidder Forest Division,Range officers, representatives of Non Gazetted Forest Employees Association and other forest officials participated in the event.

The Conservator of Forests in his address informed that these appreciation certificates have been given to the hardworking forest officials who are always ready to go an extra mile in the deliverance of Government work and is an recognition for their efforts.He said Forest Department has taken many initiatives in this regard including giving of UT level awards,PCCF rewards etc for which nominations are sought from concerned Forest Divisions in an transparent manner and names recommended for awards and rewards. He directed DFOs to identify field staff who are working hard under difficult conditions and performing public services with sincerity and hardwork whether they are posted in Forest Check Posts,Forest beats or Forest Control Rooms.He also directed that giving of these certificates shall be a quarterly event at the Circle level henceforth.

DFO Lidder Forest Division also spoke during the event and he congratulated the forest officials whose efforts in different fields have been recognised by the Department.Non Gazetted Forest Employees Association Vice President in his address expressed thanks to CoF for first of its kind initiative of recognising efforts of Hardworking forest staff.
