Nodal Officers Appointed For ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Initiative

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar- The rural development department has appointed nodal officers for the implementation of “Har Ghar Trianga” in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.

“Sanction is hereby accorded to the nomination of Assistant Commissioner Development concerned of Kashmir Division as Nodal Officers in respect of their Districts for successful implementation of the initiative “Har Ghar Trianga” in the UT of Jammu and Kashmir,” reads an order issued by Imam Din, Director, Rural Development Department, Kashmir.

Pertinently, the government of India is setting stage for a large-scale campaign to encourage the citizens to fly tricolour at their homes to mark the 75th Independence Day.

According to reports, the Culture Ministry is planning on celebrating August 11 to August 17 as “Independence Week” across the country during which the 26 crore households in the country would be encouraged to hoist the tricolour as a part of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme.:-PTK.
