NIA Court Issues Notices to Absconders in Bandipora: Residents of Jammu and Kashmir Under Scrutiny

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) Court in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir has taken action against individuals accused of evading the law. The court issued notices under Section 82 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CRPC) against five absconders, marking a pivotal step in the ongoing investigations.

 

The individuals identified in the notices include Mohd Umar Mir, son of Gh Hassan, hailing from Brathkalan Sopore; Hashir Rafiq Parray, son of Mohmad Rafiq Parray, with a residence in Patushai Bandipora and alleged links to Pakistan; Mohd Jameel Sheergojri from Naz Colony Bandipora; and Mohd Iqbal Khan, son of Mohd Hussain Khan, from Kandi Barjala Uri Baramulla.

 

The District Police Bandipora confirmed the issuance of these notices, emphasizing the concerted effort to bring absconders to justice. The notices were prominently displayed on the exterior of the suspects’ residential properties, marking a public acknowledgment of the legal actions taken against them.

 

This development underscores the commitment of law enforcement agencies, particularly the NIA, in addressing matters of national security and ensuring accountability within the region. The proactive approach adopted by the NIA Court serves as a deterrent to individuals attempting to evade legal proceedings and evade justice.
