NC MP demands better facilities for persons in hospitals, quarantine centres
Srinagar, Mar 27 (PTK): Senior National Conference leader and Member of Parliament for north Kashmir Mohammad Akbar Lone has demanded better facilities for patients, attendants and people in quarantine centres.
“I am deeply concerned about the hundreds of patients and attendants as they are facing the burnt of lockdown view of covid-19,” said Lone while talking to Press Trust of Kashmir (PTK).
“Many of attendants have nothing to eat and no place to live,” he said, adding that I urge to the government of Jammu and Kashmir to take immediate steps to provide them all facilities till condition gets normal.
He also demanded that government must provide free food to the attendants at hospital besides provide them every facility as they are unable to bring anything from market or residence due to lockdown.
“Government must also ensure availability of all essential commodities at door step so that people especially weaker section may not suffer,” he added.
“Besides that government ensure availability of medicines in all hospitals and announce special financial packages for downtrodden people,” he said.
He asked government to ensure all facilities to the persons in different quarantine centres in Kashmir and outside as well. (PTK)
