Militants fire on police vehicle in Allochibagh, no injury reported

Militants manage to escape from spot taking advantage of darkness

PRESS TRUST OF KAHSMIR Srinagar AUG 03:- Militants on Wednesday evening fired upon a police vehicle in Allochibagh area of Srinagar which was retaliated while no injuries were reported in the incident, officials said.

They said that militants managed to escape from the spot taking advantage of the darkness, however, cordon has been launched in whole area.

“In Allochibagh bund area of Srinagar, militants fired upon a vehicle bound small police party.This was effectively retaliated by the police party. Militants took advantage of darkness & ran away towards built up area. No injury or other damage took place. CASO launched in area.” kashmir police zone tweeted.
