Militant killed in Baramulla was on mission to target shopkeeper : IGP Kashmir

Baramulla, 28 Oct (PTK) : One militant has been killed after suspected militants fired on area domination party of Army and police in Cherdari Baramulla district on thursday morning,Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar said that the slain militant was on mission to target one shopkeeper in Baramulla.

According to press trust of Kashmir (PTK) that suspected militants fired on Area domination party of Army and Police in Cherdari Baramulla and alert parties retaliated the fire during which a militant was killed.

The slain militant was identified as Javaid Ahmed wani of kulgam District and 01 pistol, 01 loaded magazine & 01 Pak grenade was recovered from his possession, says police official.

Inspector General of Police Vijay Kumar on Thursday informed through a tweet on official twitter handle of Police that “Killed militant is hybrid type, identified as Javed Ah Wani of Kulgam district and he has assisted terrorist Gulzar (who was killed on 20th Oct) in killing of 2 labourers from Bihar in Wanpoh. He was on mission to target one shopkeeper in Baramulla”. (PTK)
