Meet Daniya Mushtaq: Ganderbal’s young artist wining hearts with her art

SRINAGAR :- A young girl Daniya mushtaq hailing from kangan area of district ganderbal who is known for her art skills is winning hearts with her art work.

A 17 year old Daniya from Kajpara-a small village of Kangan area of central Kashmir, had started drawing and painting at a very young age and has been wining hearts with art work.

Her talent was discovered in the school at Girls Higher Secondary School Kangan in a painting competition when her magic with colours came to the forefront.

After that she was encouraged by her teachers in school to participate in state level competitions
Daniya has competed in several art competitions which has not only given her recognition but also winning her several awards at local and district level.

While talking to PTK Daniya said, “I love to play with colours, Iwas a Kid, when I started drawings” “My journey in this field has just started and I want it to be never-ending.”

“My art journey started in Class 3rd, I was quite interested in art but did not take it seriously, I started to participate in serveral competition and was greatly inspired by the work of fellow artists. with a little guidance in class 8th, I started to spent more time in it more seriously,” She Said

She Suggest the government must organise exhibition so that they can showcase their talent on a big platform.

Talking on the same she said, ‘Today in our society there are a lot of problems whether it is drugs or violence against women, I make all these my topics and make paintings on these issues.”

She further said that i would like to give a message to the youth that try to bring out the talent that is hidden inside you to the world”
