Man Stabbed from back with axe while performing Azaan in Bandipora

Press Trust of Kashmir | Bandipora  : A man has been critically injured while performing Azaan in Bagh area of North kashmir’s Bandipora District.

An official told the news agency Press Trust of Kashmir-PTK that a man aged 75 years identified as Al Mohammad Malik was performing Azaan for Maghrib salah when an unknown man from back stabbed him with axe.

The injured has been taken to nearby district hospital Bandipora for treatment.

“We are ascertained the facts and will initiate legal action as per the law, police”, official said.(PTK).
