Leopard caught in Balhama Srinagar

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar: The Wildlife Department in Khrew on Sunday morning caught a leopard alive in Balhama area of Srinagar district.

An official said that leopard was captured alive by a team of wildlife department in Balhama.

He said that locals had spotted leopard in the area on Sunday after which they called wildlife department.

He said following information, team was sent to the area and trap was laid into the area.

The leopard was captured without causing injury to anyone and was shifted to Dachigam Wildlife Sanctuary, he added.(PTK)
