Kupwara admin prohibits movement of traffic towards border areas

Kupwara, 05 Nov (PTK): The district administration Kupwara has imposed prohibition on the movement of vehicles towards the border areas after fresh spell of snowfall in the area here on friday.

According to press trust of Kashmir, the district administration Kupwara issued an order of which a copy lies with Press Trust Of Kashmir (PTK) that reads “In view of the snowfall in border areas, slippery condition of roads and to save precious lives from accidental mishaps, it is requested to restrict the traffic movement on Kupwara to border areas including Keran, Karnah, Machil, Jumagund, Budnambal and Kumkadi from both sides”.

Notably , the upper reaches of Kupwara district received moderate snowfall on friday . (PTK)
