SRINAGAR, Oct 13(PTK): Apni Party Youth Provincial President Kashmir Khalid Rathore on Wednesday welcomed the government decision to remove the Director EDI Kashmir.

In a statement issued here, Khalid said that administration has rightfully resonated with the pressing demand of the youth which was recently raised by Apni Party Youth Wing. He said the youth were sadistically pushed from pillar to post by the EDI officials for reasons best known to them.

“I am highly grateful to the administration of Jammu and Kashmir who have timely perceived the sufferings of Kashmiri youth whose futures were getting utterly destroyed. This is an appropriate decision which has sent a positive message among the youth and strengthened their hopes in the government. This exemplary decision has displayed that accountability is still in existence. Earlier, the EDI Kashmir continued to be defunct due to which the talented youth of the valley were drowned in a sense of dejection and hopelessness,” he said.

Furthermore, Khalid hoped that with the appointment of new Director EDI things will begin to change for the better and the grievances of youth will be addressed in a stipulated time frame.

“With such a prompt and apt decision, youth are hopeful that the earlier prevailing stagnation will now come to an end. They hope that their innovative ideas will be given a chance to materialize in reality through which they will be able to contribute in making Jammu and Kashmir a progressive and developed region. I firmly believe that with the innovative ideas of our youth, J&K will continue to prosper for generations to come” he observed.

Furthermore, Khalid said that Apni Party Youth Wing will continue to fearlessly voice the pressing concerns of the youth and shall remain always available at the beck and call of the distressed youth who need their help.(PTK).
