Jmu—Sgr highway closed due to shooting stones in Ramban

Press trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : The Jammu-Srinagar national highway was closed for traffic due to shooting stones at Panthyal area of Ramban district on highway, traffic officials said.

An official told the news agency Press Trust of Kashmir-PTK that Jammu—Srinagar National Highway is closed for vehicular movement due shooting stones at Panthyal area of Ramban.

He said that due to heavy shooting stone a steel tunnel suffered damage on National highway.

He added that men and machinery are on job and efforts are on to clear the road and restore traffic.

He requested people not to start journey on the road without confirming the status of the road.:-PTK.
