J&K Police name replaced by “LADAKH POLICE” in Ladakh

SRINAGAR  MAY (PTK) J&K police name has been replaced by LADAKH POLICE in Union territory of Ladakh

The order issues by IGP Ladakh S.S Khandare (IPS) reads ” It is here by ordered that whenever organisational name “J&K Police” is written on any sigh boards, police, vehicles, letter heads, official stationeries, seals and other official items of U. T Police Ladakh should be replaced by the word “LADAKH POLICE” in capital letter henceforth.

No police officer/official shsll put on president police collar insignia of J&K Police, the order further reads adding that the order had the approval of the competent authority.(PTK)
