JK LG Manoj Sinha likely to resign to contest Lok Sabha Elections from Ghazipur, UP

SRINAGAR : According to some media reports making round on social media, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha may resign from his post and is likely to contest Lok Sabha elections from Ghazipur

Sinha hails from Uttar Pradesh’s Ghazipur and has also been a Union Minister in the Narendra Modi government from May 2014 to May 2019. He was the MoS Ministry of Railways and Ministry of Communications (MoS, Independent charge).

He assumed the office of J-K LG on August 7, 2020.
