Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department Announces Summer Vacation for Colleges

SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Higher Education Department has announced a summer vacation for all Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone areas of Jammu division, starting from July 15, 2024.

Principal Secretary of the Higher Education Department, Alok Kumar, issued an official order declaring that the vacation period will be observed from July 15 to July 24, 2024.

“All the Government Degree Colleges in the Kashmir division and the winter zone of Jammu division shall observe summer vacation with effect from July 15, 2024, to July 24, 2024,” the order reads.

This announcement brings a brief respite for students and faculty, allowing them to enjoy the summer break before resuming academic activities.
