PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR SRINAGAR NOV 08:- Srinagar/ Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Forum Chairman has expressed Concern over the power shortage scenario in JK especially in valley.
Chairman Abdul Qayoom Wani said in a statement released here that daily routine in the Kashmir valley has deteriorated due to the ever increasing bad power supply.
While low voltage sometimes plays hide and seek, the electricity is off most of the day, the statement reads.
According to Wani , the low power supply is affecting the business community, traders and students and.moreso the patients who are.nowadys on life support machines run by electricity

Wani urged the administration to enhance power supplies as needed. When our water resources are being used, he questioned, “Why can’t there be an uninterrupted power supply?”
JKCSF urged the administration to come up with a curtailment schedule if there is a power shortage but avoid unnecessary power cuts which have cascading impact on our economy
