Iqbal Abad Kangan declared as Red zone

GANDERBAL  MAY (PTK) Whereas, one (1) COVID -19 positive Case from lqbalabad, Tehsil Kangan has been reported on 19/05/2020 from GMC Srinagar; and Whereas, it is possible that the said positive COVID case might have contacted with many persons belonging to Iqbalabad, Tehsil Kangan and as such the locals of the village have become susceptible of CovID-19;and

Whereas, it is felt expedient to break further transmission of COVID 19 and has become imperative to take stringent precautionary measures by declaration of Iqbalabad Kangan as Red Zone and its surrounding areas as Buffer Zones.

Therefore, in view of above, I Shafqat Iqbal (KAS), District Magistrate Ganderbal,in exercise of powers vested in me under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897. the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and under Section 144 CrPc, do hereby order as

follows:

Therefore, in view of above, I Shafqat Iqbal (KAS), District Magistrate Ganderbal,in exercise of powers vested in me under the Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, the Disaster Management Act, 2005 and under Section 144 CrPc, do hereby order as
follows:

1. That Iqbalabad,Tehsil Kangan is declared as Red Zone.

2. That there shall be no inward or outward movement of any person(s) fromn
Iqbalabad,Kangan and people shall stay indoors as there will be complete Lock

Down in lqbalabad,Kangan.

3. That surrounding areas of the Red Zone (lqbalabad) viz.Rather Mohalla &
Hasanabad are declared as Buffer Zone and the locals of the villages shall also
restrict their movement and shall not allow relatives/visitors to visit their homes.
4. That the Block Development Officer Kangan (BDO), Mr. Taufeeq Ahmad
(9622224747) shall be the Administrator of Red Zone & Buffer Zones He shall
coordinate with all line departments to ensure the availability of all basic facilities
including Food grains/LPG/Medicines etc in the Red/Buffer Zones and shall

coordinate with all line departments for the samme.

5. Any person(s)/group(s)/institution(s) found violating the directions contained

herein this order shall be booked under the provisions relevant act/rule/law.

Kangan shall ensure the implementation of above-mentioned instructions in
letter & spirit(PTK)
