Indian Army organises painting competition

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 04: To commemorate 75 years of Independence, a Painting competition was organised by the Indian Army at Parhander High School, Batu in Ramban District. It encouraged children to celebrate the upcoming 75th Independence Day and hoist tricolor made by them on their houses.

The theme for the competition was aptly selected as “Azadi ka Amrit mahotsav” and “Har Ghar Tiranga”. The enthusiasm, creativity and patriotism of the children added to the charm of the event. The event encouraged children to take painting as a hobby.

In all 34 children (21 boys & 13 Girls) in the 6-14 years age group and 8 locals attended the event.

The competition not only enhanced but also sparked the minds and creativity of the children. The active participation and healthy competition amongst the children made the event bright & added to its charm.
