ICDS Supervisors protest non-payment of salaries

Srinagar September 29 (PTK) The Integrated Child Development Scheme (ICDS) Supervisors on Tuesday staged a protest over non-payment of salaries since last ten months.

According to reports, scores of ICDS Supervisors assembled at Press colony Srinagar and staged a protest demonstration to press for their demands.

According to PTK, ICDS Supervisors said that We assembled here today to inform the Advisors to Governor about the non-payment of salaries to ICDS Supervisors.”

our department issued a circular asking all ICDS supervisors to attend Training Refreshment programme in Srinagar but we don’t have a single penny in our pockets and it is impossible for us to participate in the programme, they added.

They requested higher ups to look into the matter.(PTK)
