Health Department organises Blood donation Camp at Batote
PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR RAMBAN, AUGUST 25: Health Department Ramban on Thursday organized a Blood Donation Camp at Accidental Emergency Hospital (Community Health Center), Batote.
The Blood Donation Camp, organised under the aegis of under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, was inaugurated by the Chairperson Block Development Council, Batote, Rajeshwar Kumar and coordinated by the Chief Medical Officer,Dr Kamal Zadu.
A special Medical Care vehicle was arranged from Jammu by the Directorate of Health Services, Jammu to facilitate the blood donors. A number of volunteers and students, besides the hospital staff, donated blood.

A Team of doctors headed by the Pathologist, Dr Pervez Ahmed and Incharge BMO, Dr.OP Singh e provided the necessary health services to the donors.
While encouraging the students of Government Model Higher Secondary School, Batote, Chairperson BDC said that blood donation is a noble and harmless service to humanity which benefits both, the donor as well as the recipient.
