Gunfight Breaks Out in Gandoh, Doda

Srinagar, June 26: A gunfight erupted between terrorists and security forces in the Gandoh area of Doda district in Jammu division on Wednesday.

According to top sources, a joint team comprising police and army personnel launched a cordon and search operation in Gandoh. As the forces approached the suspected location, the hiding terrorists opened fire, triggering a fierce exchange, an officer reported.

A senior police officer has confirmed the ongoing exchange of gunfire between the terrorists and security forces.
