Govt announces summer vacation in Schools from June 15

SRINAGAR  JUNE(PTK) Government of jammu and Kashmir has announced summer vacation in all higher schools upto in Jammu division from June 15.

“All Government Educational Institutions/Private recognized Schools upto Higher secondary level falling in fully summer zone of Jammu Division shall observe summer Vacation
from 15 June 2020 to 15 July, 2020 and those falling under winter zone areas of Jammu Division We.l 06 July 2020 to 15h July 2020 witlh following conditions

1. Online classes of Teachers with students shall be ensured through whatsapp
group/googlemeet etc at least five days in a week.

2 Weelkly program/assessments shall be conducted throughout vacation period besides engaging children in cultural activities and for the coverage of curriculum/syllabus.

3. All Teachers shall remain available for any query/doubt to students through voice calls/texts and whatsapp messages,” reads the order issued by Dr Asgar Samoon, Principal secretary to the Government, School education department.(PTK)
