Global premier league finals organised on Rashtriya Ekta Diwas By Indian Army

 GLOBAL PREMIER LEAGUE FINALS ORGANISED ON RASHTRIYA EKTA DIWAS BY INDIAN ARMY IN KALAROOS, KUPWARA

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : In continuation to the synergised efforts by Indian Army in total assimilation of AWAM into main stream, Rashtriya Ekta Diwas was celebrated in Kupwara.

On this day Col Santosh Mahadik, SC(P), SM Global Premier League final was organised by Indian Army in Kalaroos, Kupwara.

Final was played between Senior Lords Cricket Club and Kalaroose Cricket Club and Senior Lords Cricket Club won the final by scoring 219 runs . Both the teams displayed great sportsmanship and competitive spirit. In this league a total of 74 teams participated from different areas of North Kashmir.

Mr Imam Din, DC Kupwara, Col MS Navalgatti, CO, 41RR, Chaudhary Mustafa Rahie, DDC Kalaroose, Mr Rashad, DSP HQ Kupwara, and other dignitaries witnessed the final match. More than 500 youth from different parts of Kupwara were present for the final. The excitement and enthusiasm of the youth present was worth commending and was a treat to eyes.

This tournament was aimed at bringing out the local talent of Kupwara and to bring the youth of different areas together on one play ground and inculcate the feeling of unity in them.

This tournament was an apostle of synergised and coordinated efforts of Indian Army, the Civil administration and the youth.(PTK).
