Four Injured in Clashes at Poonch Polling Station

Srinagar, May 25 : Tensions flared at a polling station in Shahpur, District Poonch, on Saturday, resulting in injuries to four individuals following a clash between two groups. The incident occurred around 12:35 pm for reasons yet to be determined.

Officials reported that the injured, all residents of Shahpur, were identified as Zahoor Din (40), Shazad Ahmad (20), Miss Saleema Bi (18), and Mohammad Aslam (22). They were promptly transported to the district hospital in Poonch for medical treatment.

Authorities have initiated an investigation into the altercation, with police registering a case to uncover the underlying causes of the dispute.
