Former J&K CM Farooq Abdullah Calls for Unity and Constitutional Action at Delhi Maha Rally

 

In a stirring address at the Ramlila Maidan’s Maha Rally in Delhi, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister and National Conference leader Farooq Abdullah urged for unity and adherence to the Constitution. Amidst a fervent crowd, Abdullah emphasized the significance of upholding democratic principles, declaring, “All the arrested leaders like Arvind Kejriwal and Hemant Soren would be free when all of you would hold onto the Constitution.”

 

Abdullah’s impassioned speech resonated with the audience as he called for collective action to safeguard democratic rights. He urged citizens to exercise their electoral power effectively, stating, “At the time of elections, press the button that would remove this government.” His call for political mobilization underscored the importance of citizen participation in shaping the nation’s future.
