Will provide every evidence of alleged Scam to CBI:- Aspirants

Press Trust of Kashmir | Srinagar : A large number of aspirants of Fire and Emergency Services demand CBI enquiry of the alleged recruitment scam

While holding a press conference in Ganderbal Imtiyaz Ali, an aspirant said that the recruitment list of Fire and Emergency Services is full of scam. The names, which surfaced in the list along with some officials, had done this scam and a CBI enquiry should be initiated in it.

We, the aspirants of Fire and Emergency Services, demand a CBI inquiry into the recruitment of Fire and Emergency Services. Our exam was held three times, and the last exam in which the fire and emergency department broke all records of corruption, nepotism, and favoritism was held on 20 September 2020. The names, which surfaced in the select list, which was out on 03 October 2020, along with some officials from the fire department and transparent recruitment agency involved in carrying out the recruitment process, namely Time & Technology and LMES, had done this scam together. Noww, a CBI inquiry should be initiated into it so that justice should prevail.

The names of the aspirants who appeared on the list joined their duties the very next day without any verification; we will continue this protest till justice prevails.

We have held hundreds of protests in Srinagar several times, but no one listened to us and forced us to travel to Jammu. We have been suffering since 2013; the Department of Fire & Emergency held our physical and written tests 3-4 times. But due to corruption, nepotism, and blood relation,

we were dropped from the selection list, which was out on, and the 8th and 10th candidates got selected, and highly qualified candidates like BA, MA, and MSc got dropped. We will continue our protest and, if needed, will protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi till a CBI inquiry is not ordered into the recruitment scam in Fire and Emergency Services.

We urge Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to order a CBI probe as Fire and Emergency Services is the mother of all scams. :-PTK.
