Drug peddler arrested by Srinagar Police one kg charas recovered

SRINAGAR JUNE 08 (PTK): Today naka was laid by police party of police station Khanyar led by SHO Police Station Khanyar Shri Parvaiz Ahmad near Konkhan Dalgate ,Srinagar.

During naka checking one person was observed moving suspisciously & when apprehended he tried to flee but was detained & was identified as Sheeraz Ahmad Dar s/o Ab Rashid Dar R/o Ladermud Naina Pulwama
& one Kg Charas was recovered from his possession.

In this regard, case FIR No. 44/2018 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Khanyar and investigation taken up.

This is in continuation to the efforts of Srinagar Police to fight against the meance of Drug Abuse and Drug Peddling. (PTK)
