DM Srinagar write SEO for re election of chairman DDC Srinagar

Press Trust of Kashmir |Srinagar : District Election Commissioner Srinagar on Thursday has written to State Election Commissioner for re-election of Chairman in District Development Council in Srinagar

Chairman DDC Srinagar was vacated by members in no confidence motion by two third majority.

A non confidence motion was done against the Chairman District development commissioner Srinagar in which Apni Party has lost the ground.

Apni party leader who was chairman of the council has failed to prove his majority.

They said that seven DDC members had earlier written to District Magistrate Srinagar about the issue and had alleged that the chairman DDC Council Srinagar who belongs to Apni party had failed to deliver on the ground.

They had said that if they are unable to work on the ground, then for what we are there.

With loosing of Apni party, sources believe that it has paved way for BJP to get the seat in the district as the lone DDC member Er Ajaz Ahmad who has won on BJP ticket is very active in solving public issues.(PTK).
