DLSA Kathua hosts awareness prog on Alternate Dispute Resolution methods  

PRESS TRUST OF KASHMIR KATHUA, AUGUST 24: District Legal Services Authority, Kathua today organised an awareness programme to encourage Alternate Dispute Resolution(ADR) methods of Lok Adalat, Mediation, Conciliation and Plea-bargaining here at ADR Centre in the District Court Complex.

The programme was organised under the supervision of Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Jaffer Hussain Beg.

District Mobile Magistrate, Brij Raj Singh, Ld. and Munsiff JMIC Kathua Cheena Sumbria  were the resource persons for the program.

The main objective of the programme was to spread awareness among Panel Lawyers regarding ADR methods of Lok Adalat, Mediation, Conciliation and Plea Bargaining.

The participants were encouraged to use ADR methods of Lok Adalat, Mediation, Conciliation and Plea Bargaining, if there are chances of such settlement.

The programme was attended by the Judicial Officers Kathua, Panel Lawyers Kathua, staff of District Legal Services Authority Kathua along with Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Kathua.
