Distt Admin Kulgam felicitates media persons on culmination of Seva Parv 

KULGAM, OCTOBER 03 (PTK): The District Administration Kulgam today felicitated the media persons from various media houses on the culmination of Seva Parv campaign for providing extensive coverage of programmes and other campaigns across the district.

Addressing on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Athar Aamir Khan appreciated the media’s constructive role in highlighting developmental and welfare initiatives as well as public issues.

He added that media, as the fourth pillar of democracy, promotes transparency, accountability, and serves as a vital link between the administration and the people.

The DC added that media has the power to create awareness, counter misinformation, and guide communities towards positive change. He assured full cooperation from the administration and urged media persons to continue reporting with fairness and responsibility.(PTK)
