District Judicial Employees Bandipora protests against manhandling of colleague

Bandipora, Mar 03 (ptk): District Judicial Employees Bandipora on Tuesday staged a protest against the alleged thrashing and manhandling of their colleague in Sumbal area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

According to reports, members of District Judicial  Employees of District court Bandipora staged sit-in protest in the court premises, demanding action against the accused person.

The protesters alleged that their colleague identified as Taqdeer Ahmad, Process Server of the court of Munsiff JMIC Sumbal was on duty on Monday when a man allegedly abused and thrashed him in the court.

Threatening to halt their regular work, the protesters said that they won’t start their regular work in Court until action is taken against the accused person.

A senior police officer told that they have registered a case under section (307) attempt to murder in this regard, arrested main accused and further investigation into the matter has been started (PTK).
