DDC holds public grievance camp at Bakura Ganderbal

Ganderbal, February (PTK):- With continuing its efforts to ensure redressal of grievances at the door steps of the people, District Development Commissioner, Ganderbal Shafqat Iqbal along with SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal today held a public darbar at Bakura, Ganderbal where he listened to the public grievances.

The camp was attended by ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, ACD Ganderbal, Tehsildar Ganderbal, BDO Ganderbal and other concerned officers of the district.

The redressal camp witnessed enthusiastic participation of people of the areas who apprised the DDC about various issues relating to roads, electricity, schools, water supply, healthcare facilities and other public important issues while seeking his intervention for early redressal of the same.

DDC gave a patient hearing to the representatives of the area and assured them that their genuine demands will be addressed in a phased manner at an earliest.

Responding to the demands, the DDC said that the district administration is working hard to mitigate the problems if any faced by the local population.

During the camp, DDC issued on-the-spot instructions to the concerned officers aimed at resolution of several concerns and directed them to maintain close liaison with the local population so that their grievances are redressed at the earliest.

He also asked the accompanying officers to work in coordinating and proactive approach towards resolving the issues of people.(PTK)
